Bowmore Darkest 15 Years Old is an brilliant example of a whisky expertly finished in Spanish Oak casks; starting its life maturing in American Bourbon casks, and then finishing in Oloroso Sherry casks. Paul Pacult from The Spirit Journal calls it "a clinic on how to finish a malt in sherry casks".

  This spirit has won many awards from around the world including an IWSC silver medal, an ISC trophy, and gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirit Competition.

Tasting Notes:

Colour: Burnt Sienna.
Nose: Dark chocolate and raisin aromas compliment the classic Bowmore smokiness.
Palate: Wonderful cedar wood and rich treacle toffee flavours.
Finish: Robust and warming with a hint of sherry tannin.
